Escorts Kubota Launches Farmtrac 6055 Classic 'Dark Edition' & PROMAXX 2.0

Escorts Kubota Limited has launched two new offerings to mark three decades of its Farmtrac brand in India. The Farmtrac 6055 Classic ‘Dark Edition’ is the brand's first all-black tractor, available in 2WD and 4WD variants, featuring a 55 HP engine with a maximum torque of 247 Nm, a 2,500 kg hydraulic lift, and premium LED lighting.

Additionally, the company expanded its PROMAXX series with the PROMAXX 2.0 range, introducing the 47 HT PROMAXX (47 HP) and 50 PROMAXX (50 HP) models, both available in 2WD and 4WD. These models are powered by a 3514 cc HT (High Torque) engine delivering up to 230 Nm of torque, and feature a 12 forward and 3 reverse gearbox with a creeper speed option for operator comfort.

Nikhil Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director, stated that these launches align with the company's vision of strengthening its portfolio with application-led products and anchoring Farmtrac's position in key horsepower categories. Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director, highlighted the shift in customer demand towards four-wheel drive and higher torque in the 41 to 50 HP category, which the new PROMAXX models address. Neeraj Mehra, Chief Officer of the Tractor Business Division, noted the evolving customer expectations for multi-utility machines with superior comfort and modern styling, which the PROMAXX 2.0 and the ‘Dark Edition’ cater to.

Both new tractor models will be available through Farmtrac's authorized dealer network.
