Swaraj Engines Appoints Sanjay Kshirsagar as Whole Time Director & CEO

Swaraj Engines Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Sanjay Kshirsagar as an Additional Director of the Company, effective September 1, 2026. The Board of Directors, following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, also approved his appointment as Whole Time Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel under the Companies Act, 2013.

This appointment is for a period of three years, commencing from September 1, 2026, and concluding on August 31, 2029, subject to shareholder approval. The Board meeting, where these decisions were made, commenced at 2:15 PM and concluded at 2:30 PM on August 31, 2026.

Mr. Sanjay Kshirsagar, aged 57, is a Mechanical Engineer with a Post Graduate degree in Financial Management, bringing over 34 years of experience in Projects and Manufacturing Operations. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer (Designate) of the Company and has extensive experience overseeing engine plants for Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M). His expertise includes driving manufacturing digitization, implementing Lean Manufacturing Practices, and managing new product launches and volume ramp-ups. He is not related to any existing Director of Swaraj Engines Limited and is not de-barred from holding a directorship by any regulatory authority.
